The day following the climb up Ulla Pike was much different weather wise – being overcast and wet. Not to be perturbed though, I set off outdoor walking again – this time on a slightly lower walk, around the Walla Cragg trail. Fortunately the weather did improve slightly after the start of the walk allowing some dry spots and less cloud.
Here are the images from that part of the walk. Starting with a shaft of light hitting Mansty on Derwent Water.
Further round on Castlerigg Fell I noticed a small mount that looked walkable, near Bleaberry Fell.
This is the view and cairn marker from its top.
On the path from there to Walla Cragg there was this lone tree. I have processed the first in Nik Color Efex and the second in Nik Analog Efex for two different looks.
Finally the view point at Walla Cragg – first the view towards Keswick.
And finally three walkers looking across to Catbells.
